The German mezzo-soprano, Claudia Kemmerer, studied music education and solo singing at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Saarbrücken, where she had a post-graduate studies with Professor Yaron Windmüller. Studies with Brigitta Seidler-Winkler followed. Her musical education was characterised through participation in numerous master-classes with renowned musicians such as Barbara Schlick, Kurt Widmer, Roland Hermann, etc.
As a concert singer, Claudia Kemmerer works primarily in the areas of Old and New Music, for example at the Festival Musik im 21. Jahrhundert des Saarländischen Rundfunks. She sang in the solo ensemble of the Kammerchor Stuttgart under Frieder Bernius. From 2000 to 2003 she was a member of the choir of the Saarländischen Staatstheater. In addition to the "serious" music she sings with the Ensemble farfalle canzone also in the cabaret. |
