The Dutch organist, Euwe de Jong, studied organ with Wim van Beek, and music theory with Rein Ferwerda at the Groningen Conservatory. He then went on to study musical interpretation with the Utrecht organist Peter van Dijk. In 1982 he completed both his postgraduate organ study and his degree in Music Theory.
Euwe de Jong currently works as Director of Education at the Schumann Akademie (a private music conservatory) in Zwolle. He is active as both a composer and arranger, and was, from 1985 to 2006 the accompanist of the Roder Jongenskoor (Roden Boys Choir). |
