The Moroccan choral conductror, Anass Ismat, decided to make music his profession at an early age. He obtained his Bachelor of Music degree in music education (June 2001), and his diploma in music education (September 2001-June 2003) at the Centre Pédagogique Régional in Rabat He continued his studies at the Conservatoire National de Musique et Danse in Rabat: 3rd year of Harmony (2003-2004), 1st prize in music education (2002-2003), 1st prize in violin (2002-2003). He then studied singing with Jalila Bennani, choir director of A Coeur Joie, La Chanterie, and Polyphonia, three ensembles from Rabat.
This is followed with Louis Peraudin, director of the Chorale de Rabat, who expanded Anass Ismat’s classical repertoire and developed his interpretation, from 2002 to 2004. He attended the Conservatoire National de Rabat and the l'Académie "Alizés" singing master-class since 2002 with Caroline Dumas of the Ecole Normale de Paris, Glenn Chambers of the CNSMDP and Henrik Siffert of the CNR de Strasbourg. He took the opportunity to lead the choir at the Conservatoire National de Musique et Danse de Rabat.
In 2004-2005 season, Anass Ismat continued his training at the l'Ecole de Musique et d'Art Dramatique du Nord Isère: DEM opera singing in the class of Jean Marc Bruin; DEM musical education; CFEM violin in the class of Irina Medvedeva; CFEM composition in class of Franc Dumourieux; First year choral conducting in the class of Emmanuel Robin; Department of Early Music "singing, harpsichord, bassoo continuo..."
To avoid the risk of getting bored, Anass Ismat participated in the Agence Rhône Alpes de Musique et Danse, a training choir direction with Régine Théodoresco and Tony Ramon, working with vocal coach Kate Marcken the Opera Bohn. In October 2006, he took the conducting course of Bernard Tétu, the CNSMD de Lyon. He completed his musical studies at CNSMD de Lyon in June 2011.
In France, Anass Ismat has been Artistic Direction of La Chorale Méli-Meylan, Les chœurs de Vienne, and Ensemble Vocal Atlas. |
