The German mezzo-soprano/contralto and singing teacher, Constanze Hirsch, completed her studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" in Leipzig with Professor Regina Werner-Dietrich and Professor Hans-Joachim Beyer with diplomas in solo singing and music education.
Already during her education Constanze Hirsch sang in various opera productions and concerts. She followed engagements to Theateragentur Papageno Weimar and Mitteldeutschen Kammeroper, among others. She has proved her comic talent in numerous music cabaret programs and operetta concerts, with which she also travels to guest performances in various cities in Germany. In the field of sacred music, she has a wide-ranging repertoire from Baroque to the present day. She is a member of Gächinger Kantorei Stuttgart (Directors: Helmuth Rilling & Hans-Christoph Rademann).
Constanze Hirsch is also a singing teacher. She has taught at Universität Leipzig (1998-2009), Universität Chemnitz (1998-2003), Hochschule für Musik und Theater "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" in Leipzig (since 2005), and Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden in Dresden (since 2005). |
