The German tenor and singing teacher, Thomas Gremmelspacher, studied music education with main subject piano (Professor Avery) at the Hochschule für Musik Freiburg. He studied singing at the Musikhochschule Freiburg; Postgraduate singing studies in Zürich (opera school and Lied master-class with Irwin Gage); postgraduate singing studies in Bern (Elisabeth Glauser). He attended master-classes with Aldo Baldin, Max van Egmond, among others; and had further education in functional voice training.
Since 1986, Thomas Gremmelspacher is active as soloist in the field of oratorio and Lieder. He has pasrticipated as free-lance in various radio choirs and ensembles, including Coro della Radio Svizzera (Director: Diego Fasolis), Basler Madrigalisten (Director: Fritz Näf).
Since 1986, Thomas Gremmelspacher is a teacher of singing at the Musikschule Emmendingen. From 1992 to 2000, he was teacher of singing at the Musikschule Rheinfelden. In 1992-1993, he gave singing lectures at Lectureship singing at the Konservatorium Winterthur. Since summer semester 2012, he is lecturer for singing at the Hochschule für Musik Freiburg. |
