The Cultural Association "Gli Invaghiti" is a center for the study and promotion of music and Classical, Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque art, made up of a group of art history scholars and internationally renowned musicians, united to enhance and promote Italian and European art in the context of world cultural heritage. It takes its name from one of the many Academies of intellectuals that were established between the end of the 1500's and the beginning of the 1600's in Italy and, as then, the activities of the Association are aimed at promoting social, educational and artistic, cultural and cultural growth. human through music and its intersections with other artistic manifestations.
The Association is engaged in the definition and implementation of projects for the enhancement of the territory and, in particular, of places of historical, artistic, archaeological and architectural interest, through music; in the historical reconstruction of Renaissance and Baroque musical chapels; in the organization of national and international music festivals, multidisciplinary and intercultural conferences and conferences, public events and historical celebrations and seminars of a popular, scientific and research nature. Particular attention is also dedicated to the research and reproposing of early music scores kept in Libraries and Archives, in particular those from Piedmont.
he "Gli Invaghiti" Cultural Association was founded in Chivasso in 2008 by Fabio Furnari (who is now its President). Consistently with the stated purposes, the Association has carried out a particularly intense activity both in the organization of cultural events and in the context of training. It mainly dedicates itself to the rediscovery, transcription and execution of Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque scores and has more than 150 concerts performed by the musicians who are part of it. |
