The Chilean bass, David Gaéz, obtained his degree in sininging from the Universidad de Chile.
As a musical interpreter, David Gaéz has performed in the main concert halls of Chile - such as the Teatro Municipal de Santiago, Teatro Municipal de Viña del Mar, Teatro de la Universidad de Chile and Aula Magna de la Universidad de Santiago de Chile -, developing a wide repertoire in various musical styles, both in Oratorio, Lied and Operas. He has participated in the Temporadas de Música Sacra de la Pontificia Universidad Católica and in the Semanas Musicales de Frutillas.
He has played roles in works such as J. Haydn's The Creation, W.A. Mozart's Don Giovanni, W.A. Mozart's Die Zauberflöte, W.A. Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro, G. Verdi's La Traviata, G. Verdi's Un ballo in maschera and G. Puccini's La Bohème, among others. In all these operas he worked with outstanding Musical Directors and also Stage Directors, with a vast national and international trajectory. He is currently a member of the Camerata Vocal de la Universidad de Chile. |
