The Spanish soprano Inmaculada (Inma) Férez, was born in Madrid but soon went to the UK, where he obtained the degree of Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music. She also has a degree in Pedagogy, has specialized in the period from the Renaissance to Classicism, and her dedication to the vocal work of J.S. Bach is remarkable, around which she has been performing the Cantatas integral cycle in various cycles and festivals in Madrid since 2004.
Inmaculada Férez' work is also relevant in the framework of the early Baroque, with the main works of Claudio Monteverdi, such as Selva Morale e Spirituale, L’Òrfeo, I Livri di Madrigali and Vespro della Beata Vergine. In his repertoire it is also worth noting Jepthe by G. Carissimi, Messa Concertata by F. Cavalli, operas by Henry Purcell (The Fairy Queen and Dido and Aeneas), oratorios by George Frideric Handel, the opera Farnace by Corselli, masses and motets of M.A. Charpentier, Mondonville and Campra and the Mass in C minor and the Requiem by W.A. Mozart.
Inmaculada Férez has performed at the Palacio Real de Madrid, Auditorio Nacional, Palau de la Música Catalana, Teatro Monumental de Madrid, Círculo de Bellas Artes, Festival de Teatro Clásico de Mérida, and Abu Gosh Festival in Israel, among others.
