The Chilean tenor and choral conductor, Emilio Andrés Espinoza Alvarado, has participated in advanced courses in choral conducting at the Pontifica Universidad Católica de Chile in Santiago and the Universidad de Cantabria (Spain), and has a diploma in Choral Conducting from the Universidad de Chile. He has been trained in with teachers Néstor Zadoff (Argentina), Esteban Sanz and Marco García de Paz (Spain), Ethan Sperry and Magen Solomon (USA), Paula Torres (Colombia) and Juan Pablo Villarroel (Chile).
Emilio Espinoza has vast experience forming and directing choral groups. Additionally, he has served as a tenor soloist in works such as Joseph Haydn's Misa Santa Cecilia and W.A. Mozart's Alma Dei Creatoris, the latter presented in the Iglesia de San Jerónimo El Real in Madrid (Spain). He has also participated as a chorister in several performances of J.S. Bach's Cantatas with Bach Santiago
(2020-2024). In 2017 he founded the Ensemble Vocal Quodlibet de Santiago which he directs to date. In Valdivia he founded and directs the “Canticum Novum” Choir with which he performs in the main cities of the south-central zone of Chile. |
