The French soprano, Violaine Le Chenadec, obtained her DEM (Musical Studies Diploma) in singing in the class of Agnès Brosset, and her license Musicology at the Université de Rennes. This was followed by two years of perfecting in the class of Martine Surais at the CRR de Rennes (Conservatoire à rayonnement régional de Rennes). She obtained last June her DNSPM degree from the CNSM (Conservatoire national supérieur de musique) de Lyon, where she had studied with Brian Parsons. She participated in numerous master-classes with Rosemary Joshua, Udo Reinemann, François Le Roux, Alain Garichot, Christian Immler. And she regularly works with Graham Lilly, Nobuyshi Shima, Fabrice Boulanger, Hélène Lucas et Fabrice Pierre and Philippe Forget.
While studying, Violaine Le Chenadec attached great importance to the practice of the choir and the stage. Indeed, she was a member for six seasons of the Choeurs de l’Opéra de Rennes, where he was regularly entrusted with small roles. She sings regularly with Ensemble Pygmalion (Director: Raphaël Pichon), Chœur de Chambre Mélisme(s) ((Director: Gildas Pungier), Choeur de Femmes Calliope (Director: Régine Théodoresco) and more recently with Le Concert Spirituel (Director: Hervé Niquet) and finally with Ensemble Correspondances (Director: Sébastien Daucé; since 2009). In 2010, she played Barberine in W.A. Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro at the Opéra de Rouen and at the Théâtre Royal de Versailles. Under the Cadre des Soirées Lyriques du CNSMD de Lyon, she performed in 2011 the role of Fanny in Cambiale di matrimonio by Rossini and in 2012, that of Adele in Die Fledermauss by J. Strauss. |
