The American baritone, Eugene Carbajal, studied at Pasay City Academy (1967-1976); Loma Linda University (Business Management & Computing: 1976-1980); Computer Learning Center (Computer Systems and Programming, Programming: 1986-1986; Cum Laude & Honors Graduate); Los Angeles Sheriff Academy (Peace Officer: 1989-1989).
Eugene Carbajal is an active member of the Camerata of Los Angeles (Director: H. Vincent Mitzelfelt), Cal Phil Chorale (since 2009), Golden State Pops Orchestra Chorale, Pasadena Conservatory of Music Artes Vocales of Los Angeles, Los Angeles Korean-American Musicians Association, Bridges Chorale and was a member of the Pasadena Master Chorale, Occidental College Chorale, and L.A. Chinese Music Ensemble Chorus.
Since January 2015, Eugene Carbajal is the Bass Section Leader at the First Congregational Church of Pasadena; and since January 2014 , Choral Contractor for Southern California Combined Choirs (Recruits and coordinates singers for various SoCal orchestras/music productions). He has performed with the El Dorado Opera Company, Los Aangeles Metropolitan Opera (since 2010), Independent Opera Company (since January 2011), Vineyard Touring Opera Company (2010-2013), and Casa Italiana Opera Company as the Priest in W.A. Mozart's Magic Flute, Count Monterone/Sparafucile in Rigoletto, Frank in Die Fledermaus, Captain Zaretsky in Eugene Onegin, Betto / Guccio in Gianni Schicchi, King Melchior in Amahl and the Night Visitors, Don Bartolo in W.A. Mozart's Marriage of Figaro, Count Carl-Magnus Malcolm in A Little Night Music, and Njegus in Merry Widow.
