The Cor de Cambra de Granollers (= CCGr; Granollers Chamber Choir) directed by Josep Vila Jover was founded in 1996 with the music school created that same year within the framework of the Societat Coral Amics de la Unió, an organization dedicated since 1877 to the promotion and dissemination of choral music. Since 2017, CCGr has been resident choir at the Teatre Auditori de Granollers.
The CCGr's repertoire is very wide and includes works from various genres, periods and styles: religious and secular polyphony, Baroque, Classicism, Romanticism, contemporary music and traditional songs from around the world. The choir regularly offers productions in collaboration with the Orquestra de Cambra de Granollers and as part of the La música del cel cycle, organized by the Parròquia de Sant Esteve de Granollers. In addition to productions at the Teatre Auditori de Granollers, the CCGr also performs at some of the country's most important venues, such as the Palau de la Música Catalana or L'Auditori de Barcelona.
The CCGr has participated in several international choral singing festivals both in Spain and in several European countries, has collaborated with formations such as the OBC or the OSV and has worked under the direction of Álvaro Albiach, Robert King, Manel Valdivieso, Christian Grube, Xavier Puig, Salvador Brotons, Edmon Colomer, Hartmut Haenchen, Josep Vila Casañas or Josep Caballé among others. In 2019, the choir won the 2nd Prize at the XLVIII Certamen Coral d’Ejea de los Caballeros.
