Orquestra de Cambra de Granollers (= OCGr; Chamber Orchestra of Granollers) is a musical training with 25 years experience, linked and rooted in the city of Granollers and the surrounding area.
As a result of the desire to create an equable musical training with personality and quality. The OCGr was born at the hands of the EMM and Granollers Conservatory. Nowadays it has become the resident orchestra in the Auditorium Theatre in the same city. This helped it grow, mature and continues to link it’s projects to its surroundings and create for the first time a children’s orchestra, family audiences, young future musicians and the participation of diverse centres for learning difficulties…
With a flexible template that allows it to take on board diverse repertoires and styles. It’s versatility has allowed performances in different styles and eras: from Baroque or classical temperaments, historical arcs, and gut strings until music from the 20th and 21st century.
In its 25 years, OCGr has counted on the musical collaboration of diverse musical directors, groups and soloists with international critical acclaim. It has provided a solid base to work on different repertoires: Antoni Ros Marbá, Christophe Coin, Ernest Martínez Izquierdo, Edmon Colomer, Andrew Watkinson, Salvador Brotons, Barry Sargent, Manel Valdivieso, Corrado Bolsi, Farran James, Albert Guinovart, Jordi Masó, Santiago Juan, Mayte Martín, Lluís Vila Casañas, Alvaro Albiach, Sergio Alapont, Robert King, Andrea Marcon, H.
