The Swiss soprano and singing teacher, Juliette Bise, was first trained at the Conservatory of Geneva and had further studies at the Salzburg Mozarteum, in Hilversum (Netherlands), in Vienna and Budapest.
Juliette Bise began her career with concert performances in Switzerland and abroad, and from 1948 to 1955 was engaged as a soloist at the Grand Theater Geneva. She joined them very successfully in concerts together with L'Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, with the Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne and the Swiss Radio.
Juliette Bise devoted herself later primarily to the vocal pedagogy and worked until 1972 at the Conservatory of Friborg, then in 1972-1975 at the Conservatorio Nacional and at the Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon. In 1975-1978 she took a teaching position at the Opera Studio of the Paris Grand Opera. Finally, she served a long time as a professor at the Conservatory of Lausanne. Among the many singers she trained are Philippe Huttenlocher, Béatrice Haldas, Danielle Borst, Magali Schwartz, Brigitte Fournier, François Loup and Gilles Cachemaille. Her son Georges Delnon was a well-known opera director.
