Merle Bader (Soprano) |
Born: Berlin, Germany |
The German soprano, Merle Bader, grew up in a musical home. She initially focused on the violin, which she later supplemented with lessons in oboe, piano and singing. However, after completing her studies, she decided to study singing. Since 2011 she is a student of singing pedagogy at the Musikhochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln, which she started with Professor Brigitte Lindner and continues since 2014 with Thilo Dahlmann. Among other things, she completed her training with a master-class in early music with counter-tenor Kai Wessel. She is a scholarship holder of the Richard Wagner-Verbandes.
The focus of Merle Bader's artistic work lies in the area of oratorio and early music. She is a member of the Literaturoper Köln and of Chorus Musicus Köln (Director: Christoph Spering). |
