Joris van Baar (Bass-Baritone) |
Born: August 5, ____ - The Netherlands |
The Dutch bass-baritone, Joris van Baar, was seen as a child in The Sound of Music (V & V Entertainment), he played the premiere in Theater de Efteling and he sang on the CD recording. Only a few years later he was admitted to the Fontys Conservatorium in Tilburg. At the Muziektheateropleiding under the guidance of Edward Hoepelman he received classical and light singing lessons with Harry Ruijl and Katrien Verheijden respectively, in addition to an intensive dance and acting program. Because of a growing interest in classical music, he decided to switch to classical singing. During the VWO he started his studies in Amsterdam with Harry van Berne. He has been studying Classical Singing at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam since 2013.
Joris van Baar has gained experience as a choir singer in various cantatas by J.S. Bach, his Christmas Oratorio (BWV 248), Johannes-Passion (BWV 245) and Magnificat (BWV 243). |
