Johann Christian Siring was born the son of Johann Christian Siring (writer in Eckartsberga). He enrolled at the Thomasschule in Leipzig on May 16, 1747; and studied there from 1747 to 1755. Although he attended the Thomasschule during J.S. Bach's tenure, it is not known if he actually studied with him. |
