The German pianist and composer, Franz Kullak, the son of Theodor Kullak, studied at the Neuen Akademie of his father in Berlin. After the death of his father he managed this institue until 1890.
Franz Kullak composed an opera, a Jubiläumsouvertüre, piano pieces and songs. Besides, he arranged numerous orchestral works (i.e. of Mozart and L.v. Beethoven) for piano and worked as a music critic and publisher. |
