The Japanese composer and arranger, Hideo Kobayashi, studied composition and graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music.
Hideo Kobayashi has composed many vocal works, choral music, piano music, and some operas. His most popular composition is the vocal work Karamatsu (1972). This piece is well known and arranged for chorus, is sung all over Japan. He has also transcribed for piano several of J.S. Bach's organ works and the famous Chaconne. |
