Born: July 28, 1720 - Arnoldsgrün, Saxony, Germany
Died: March 28, 1753 - Hohburg, near Leipzig, Saxony, Germany

Christian Friedrich Hübler was born the son of Christian Friedrich Hübler (1682-1740; Pastor in Arnoldsgrün). He enrolled at the Thomasschule in Leipzig on July 5, 1735; studied there from 1735 to 1740; and at Universität Leipzig from 1742, obtaining his Baccalaureus degree in 1744/1745. Although he attended the Thomasschule during J.S. Bach's tenure, it is not known if he actually studied with him. After his studies, he was Rector in Wurzen from 1746; and Pastor in Hohburg from 1748.
