Friedrich Wilhelm Heinicke enrolled at the Thomasschule in Leipzig on June 10, 1727; and studied there from 1727 to 1729?, since March 11, 1727 already as external. Although he attended the Thomasschule during J.S. Bach's tenure, it is not known if he actually studied with him.
