The Italian pianist, composer, lecturer and linguist, Mario Braggiotti, studied at the New England Conservatory of Music, as well as the Paris Conservatoire de Musique, where he studied under Nadia Boulanger and Isidor Philipp.
With a fellow student, Jacques Fray, Mario Braggiotti formed a piano duo that went on to create a catalog of more than two hundred original transcriptions. The duo were the first to play both classical and popular music on the same program and were known internationally. Braggiotti also founded the Braggiotti Music School in Italy. |
