The Norwegian coloratura soprano, Trine Wilsberg Lund, received her training at the Norwegian Academy for music, where she studied with Professor Barbro Marklund and Prof Håkan Hagegård. She continues at present her master studies with Professor Barbara Schlick at the Staatlichen Hochschule für Musik Köln, department of Wuppertal.
Trine Wilsberg Lund is already a concert singer in demand in Europe. Her repertoire covers works of all musical periods, from early Baroque, Classical and Romantic periods, up to the new music. She was engaged as a soloist in various festivals. Her opera roles include: Clarice in Il Mondo della Luna by Haydn and Servilja in Titus by Mozart and Amintha in Il Rè pastore by Mozart in Wuppertal. She participated in master-classes with Ian Partridge CBE, Anne Gjevang, Professor Håkan Hagegård, Professor Svein Bjørkøy and Professor Barbara Schlick. She won the 1st prize at the "Norsk Sanglœrerforening" Singing Competition in 1998 and at the National "Queen Sonja International Music Competition" with the Stavanger Sinfonieorchester in 2003. In addition she became in 2004 Bach prize winner with the 2nd prize at the "International Johann Sebastian Bach Vompetition“ in Leipzig and sang in the finale of the “Euriade Vocaal Concours – Das Literarische Lied“ in Holland in 2003.
