The German tenor, Gerhard Werlitz, gained his first musical experiences with the Augsburger Domsingknaben, where he served until the change of voice as an alto, later in the men's choir as a tenor soloist.
Since 1992, Gerhard Werlitz member of the chorus of the Theater Augsburg, where he was performed numerous solo roles in opera, operetta and musicals, such as Ari in Comedian Harmonists. In December 2009 he sang as a tenor soloist with the Augsburger Domsingknaben under the baton of Reinhard Kammler at the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican in the presence of Pope Benedict XVI and the Federal President Horst Köhler Weihnachts-Oratorium (BWV 248) by J.S.
