The Norwegian Baritone, Lars Terray, gained his diploma in Oslo as vocal Soloist and continued his studies 1989 in the opera class of the Sweelinck Academy under Kevin Smith where he graduated in 1993. He also attended master-classes with Oren Brown, Kurt Equiluz, Jill Feldman, Ian Partridge and Nigel Rogers.
Lars Terray is engaged as first bass with the Groot Omroepkoor. He is a highly asked for as oratorio singer and sang in 1991 at the "Erna-Spoorenberg Vocalisten-Presentatie" in Nijkerk. His opera repertoire includes among others the roles of Don Inigo (L'heure Espagnole), Dancaire (Carmen), Marquis (Dialogues des Carmelites) and Alfonso (La Favorita). He worked with the conductors like Gerard Akkerhuis, Kees Bakels, Valéry Gergiev, Kenneth Montgomery, Johan van Slageren and Ed Spanjaard. |
