Founded in 2017 by Félix Benati, the vocal ensemble ensemble Les Temps Dérobés brings together 17 young singers with multiple backgrounds and horizons around a common musical project:
- Bringing together a cappella choral music from different eras, from the Middle Ages to the present day.
- Combine these plural temporalities through the alchemy of voices, timbres and musical individualities, halfway between the choir and the ensemble of soloists.
- Share these alloys with a wide audience, through thematic and spatial concerts (the Nocturne, gallant love through the ages, the mortuary ritual, the Office of Darkness, etc.).
- Thus making the concert a musical moment in its own right, a sound pool or hanging garden, entirely irrigated by the music.
The vocal ensemble performs regularly in the Paris region, but also throughout France during musical festivals, notably in Normandy (Eure Poétique et Musicale, Mission on the Roc), in Gers and even in Brittany (Chapelles & Manoirs en musique).
Les Temps Dérobés has been directed by Nele Erastus since January 2023 (formerly directed by Félix Benati).
The ensemble is supported by the sponsorship of Caisse des Dépôts. |
