The Teatro Armonico is an ensemble of singers and instrumentalists, founded by Margherita Dalla Vecchia in celebration of the Jubilee 2000. The training varies according to the musical projects and involves both young performers and established musicians, in particular those specialized in the early repertoire with original instruments.
The activity of the Ensemble - interpreting the popularizing aims of the Filipino spirituality already expressed in the work of G.F. Anerio ("The spiritual harmonic Theater of madrigals for 5-8 voices concerted with the bass for the organ" - Rome 1619) - privileges the performance of oratorios and sacred cantatas, the Madrigal and the musical drama of the Italian '600, in particular of the Venetian and Roman schools participating in important Festivals, radio recordings and recordings.
The ensemble performed with the direction of Michael Radulescu - among the greatest interpreters of the Bach works - twelve editions of the Progetto Bach (22 sacred cantatas, the 6 Motets, the Mass in B minor, the overtures for orchestra), a unique laboratory in Italy; this project has been circulated in various festivals, in Rome, London, Mantua, Verona, Treviso, Chioggia, Cortina, Pavia, both in Italy and abroad.
