The Hungarian soprano, Zita Szemere, studied at the Liszt Ferenc Music Academy in Budapest with Chamber singer, teacher Nádor Magda (2009-2014). He awards include: 1st place at the 7th National, 2nd International Simándy József Song Contest II. Category (2011).
Zita Szemere performs at the National Theater Szeged March (since March 2013), and at the Hungarian State Opera 2014 (since 2014). Her roles in the latter have included: Despina in W.A. Mozart: Cosi fan tutte (September-October 2015), Francia királykisasszony in P. Kacsóh: János vitéz (November 2015), Zerlina in W.A. Mozart: Don Giovanni (December 2015), Pamina in W.A. Mozart: Die Zauberflöte (December 2015), Norina in G. Donizetti: Don Pasquale (January 2016), Soprano in J.S. Bach: Johannes-Passion (BWV 245) (March 2016), Lenszirom in Zs. Tallér – A. Szilágyi – B. Szöllősi: Leánder és Lenszirom (April 2016), Juliette in Charles Gounod: Roméo et Juliette (May 2016), Two girls in H. Purcell: The Fairy Queen (June 2016). She appeared as a guest at KlassikFestival Schloß Kirchstetten (2013, 2014), and Openair Theater Szeged as Oscar in G. Verdi: Un ballo in maschera (2015). She currently lives in Budapest,Hungary. |
