The German mezzo-soprano, Britta Süberkrüb, received her singing training at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin, as well as by participation in master-classes with Thomas Quasthoff, Ingrid Bjoner, Scot Weir and as a member in the Lieder class of Wolfram Rieger.
Britta Süberkrüb has regular concert activity in the Berlin area, e.g. at the Berliner Philharmonie with the W.A. Mozart's Krönungsmesse and Gustav Mahler's 2nd Symphony. A special high point was her appearance as Orpheus in a production of Orpheus und Euridike that HU Berlin. Concert tours and engagements have led her the Wiesbaden's Staatstheater, the Dessau's Kurt-Weill-Festspielen, the Schloß Freudenhain Passau and the Kreuzkirche Dresden. |
