The Portuguse mezzo-sorano, Juliane Stolzenbach Ramos, began her musical career at the age of 5e, first playing the violin. At the age of 14 she discovered her voice and 3 years later, in 2018, she was accepted as a singer at the Akademie für Begabtenförderung der Hochschule für Musik Freiburg. There she completed her Bachelor's degree in singing with Professor Wirtz and her Master's degree with Professor Markus Eiche. She also received private lessons from Natale de Carolis, Teresa Berganza and Tomas Tomasson and has been working with Raúl Gimenez since 2022.
Juliane Stolzenbach appeared as a soloist in various concerts, including: at the Teatro Real Madrid (since 2021), with the Philharmonie Baden-Baden, at the Badischen Staatstheater Karlsruhe, with the SWR Experimentalstudio (since 2019) and with the cellist Jean-Guihen Queyras. She was a scholarship holder of Live Music Now and Festival Internazionale di Musica Portogruaro and won an “Emerging Talent Award” at the Lotte Lenya Competition and a special prize at the Tenor Viñas Competition in 2021. In the same year she was part of the Young Artist program “Crescendo” of the Teatro Real Madrid. In 2018-2019 she was engaged as a soloist in Die Fledermaus at the Freiburg Theater, in 2020 she sang the role of Carolina in Il matrimonio segreto at the Opera Exam Festival in Budapest and in the 2021-2022 season she interpreted the title role in the Spanish adaptation by Pauline Viardot's Cendrillon at the Teatro Real Madrid, Teatro de la Maestranza Sevilla (since 2021) and the Teatro Campoamor Oviedo. She can be seen at the Oper Bern in the 2022-2023 season as Miranda in the world premiere of Sycorax by Georg Friedrich Haas. She currently lives in Madrid, Spain. |
