The Korean-born American pianist, Sue Kyung Song, immigrated to the USA with her family at the age of 14. While attending high school in Atlanta, she won statewide competitions, as well as the Kingsville International Music Competition in Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Music in piano from the Oberlin Conservatory and went on to receive her Superieur Concertist in performance at the Centre Conservatoire de Paris under the prestigious Harriet Wooley Scholarship from the Fulbright Association. From there, she went to the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary, where she did her post-graduate studies.
Sue Kyung Song has performed solo in major concert halls in Paris, Seoul and New York, including Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall. She has also given solo concerts in Italy, Hungary and Australia, as well as throughout the USA. |
