The Swiss bas, Frederik Bernard Sjollema, studied singing with Yvonne Perrin and perfected his training with Isabelle Henriquez.
Frederik Sjollema has many strings to his bow. He is thus the co-founder of the Librairie-Café Les Recyclables in Geneva and was, among other things, administrator of the Ensemble Vocal de Lausanne, as well as in charge of the environmental policy of the Canton of Geneva. More musically, after having sung with the Ensemble Vocal de Lausanne (Director: Michel Corboz), he performs with the Ensemble Vocal Séquence, Ensemble Cantatio, Ensemble Les Voix and Gli Angeli Genève (Director: Stephan MacLeod). He is a founding member of the Ensemble Vocal de Poche in Geneva. He is now also part of the Huelgas Ensemble (Director: Paul van Nevel). As a soloist, he can be heard in a repertoire ranging from Nicolaus Bruhns to Luciano Berio, including J.S. Bach, Rameau and W.A. Mozart. |
