The Romanian soprano, Georgiana (Varjoghe) Simonov, studied violin for 9 years at "Bălașa Doamna" Music School in her hometown Targoviste; then went to high school at Colegiul National Ienachita Vacarescu in Targoviste (Class of 2003). She continued her musical education at the University "Valahia" (Class of 2007). Later, when she was already a music teacher, suddenly realised that her gift - singing - needed to be improved. After a few years she started studying singing with Professor Georgeta Stoleriu at the National Music University of Bucharest, graduating in 2013.
Georgiana Simonov worked as music teacher at "Mihai Viteazul" School from Targoviste, "Montessori" Children's House and "Ecole de Musique" from Bucharest.
Georgiana Simonov was a member of several musical institutions such as "Muntenia" Philharmonic Choir of Targoviste, "George Enescu" Philharmonic Choir of Bucharest. Starting with 2012 she began working with the Academic Radio Choir; in the present she is a member of the same institution. As a soloist she performed in Bucharest, Covasna, Ramnicu Valcea, France, Slovenia, Austria, Germany.
Georgiana Simonov married Nicolae Simonovon August 19, 2012, and currently lives in Bucharest, Romania. |
