Ina Siedlaczek (Soprano)

Born: Germany

The German soprano, Ina Siedlaczek, received a broad musical education at an early age. She learned violin, viola, piano and organ, and was trained still at school as a part-time church musician. She received her vocal training with Irmhild Wicking at the Akademie für Tonkunst in Darmstadt, with Heidrun Luchterhandt (Hochschule für Kirchenmusik, Heidelberg) and Professor Vera Scherr in Mannheim in the period 1998-2005. During this time she finished her music therapy studies in Heidelberg in 2001 with a diploma. She gained scholarship from the Scholarship Foundation Cusanuswerk. Recently she completed her studies at the Hochschule für Musik in Mainz in Excellence Program "Vocal Baroque" etc. with Claudia Eder, Andreas Scholl and Ton Koopman. She also received important suggestions in courses with Karl Hogset and Barbara Schlick.

Ina Siedlaczek is in demand both as a soloist in oratorios and as a soloist in singer ensembles. Besides the classical oratorio literature she is especially dedicated to the interpretation of period style vocal music before Bach. For this purpose, she developed regularly programmes with solo cantatas. She has intensive co-operation with the ensembles Lautten Compagnet Berlin, Ensemble Amarcord, Bach Consort Leipzig, Johann Rosenmüller Ensemble and Himmlische Cantorey. She is a guest at various music festivals, including Schütztage Dresden, Kasseler Musiktage, Thüringer Bachwochen, Dalheimer Sommer, Haller Bach-Tage, etc. and in numerous CD and works with radio productions.

For spring 2013 Ina Siedlaczek is invited as a soloist with Bach Choir & Orchester of the Netherlands under the direction of Pieter Jan Leusink to tours and recordings of J.S. Bach's Matthäus-Passion (BWV 244) and Mass in B minor (BWV 232). In addition, she will perform with the Ensemble all the J.S. Bach cantatas.

Since 2007 Ina Siedlaczek is vocal coach at the Domsingschule Paderborn. She is a lecturer at the Universität Paderborn and the Hochschule für Musik Detmold.
