The Brazilian pianist and harpsichordist, Regina Schlochauer, has Master in Arts from the Universidade de São Paulo (USP).
Regina Schlochauer is artist with long experience of recitals and soloist in concerts with orchestra, as well as with chamber ensembles. She is engaged in productions of musical and cultural events and is well known name in the Brazilian musical life. Currently she lives in Santos, where she founded the Trama Musical Ensemble, with Ulisses Nicolai (violin) and Rossana Gomiero Fonseca (violoncelo), which is opened to various musical formations. In Santos, she gives recitals at the Conservatory Conservatório Henrique Oswald, the Pinacoteca Benedito Calixto, the Bolsa do Café, the Igreja do Valongo, the Teatro Municipal. She participated at the Festival de Música Nova. She also appeared in Itanhaém, Cubatão, Bertioga.
Regina Schlochauer is teacher of History of Brazilian Music in the FAAM - Faculdade de Artes Alcântara Machado, da Uni –Fiam-Faam and History of Music and piano in Bacharelado, and in scared music seminars of J.M. Conceição, held in Mackenzie. She also participates, frequently, in events as congresses, cocktails, parties, etc, besides carrying through illustrated lectures, in schools, faculties, theaters, and clubs. Her easiness of communicating with the public, enables her to exert her didactic capacities in creative and versatile way.
Regina Schlochauer recorded LP of Brazilian Music "Brasil, Álbum de Sons e Formas" and two solo CD's of harpsichord music "Um Cravo Bem Variado - volume I " and "Um Cravo Bem Variado - volume II", which received very good critical reviews. She participated as harpsichordist in the CD's "Ofertórios de André da Silva Gomes" and "Miguel Briamonte", pianist and composer. |
