Born: Bremen, Germany

The German tenor, Victor Schiering, received his singing training at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg and at the Hochschule für Musik "Hanns Eisler" in Berlin with Wolfgang Löser, Hanna Schwarz and Scot Weir.

Already during his studies, Victor Schiering developed an active concert career, appearing at the Schleswig-Holstein-Musik-Festival, the Stuttgart European Music Festival, the Salzburg Festival, the Schwetzinger Festival and others, and co-operated with conductors such as Helmuth Rilling and Thomas Hengelbrock.

His concert repertoire ranges from early music to modern, of which should be mentioned the role of the Evangelist in J.S. Bach's Passion as a focal point.

Victor Schiering had guest engagements at the Bremer Theater, the International Opera Studio of the Hamburgischen Staatsoper and the Mitteldeutschen Landestheater Wittenberg, followed in 2002 with two years of permanent engagement at the Theater Regensburg with roles as Tamino (Die Zauberflöte), Don Ramiro (La Cenerentola), Adam (The Vogelhändler) and Arlecchino (Pagliacci).
