The German sopranom Sibylle Schaible, studied at the Musikhochschule in Freiburg with Hanns-Friedrich Kunz and with Professor Mary Orán, followed interpretation courses and private studies with Christiane Hampe in Karlsruhe and Markus Haas (finctional singing) in Freiburg.
Since 1991, Sibylle Schaible acts as a free-creating Lieder, oratorio and concert singer. She sang, among other things with the Freiburger Barockorchester, Capella Agostino Steffani, Hannoversche Hofkapelle, Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen and as a guest of the Orlando di Lasso Ensemble Hanover.
Sibylle Schaible is a member of several top specialists ensembles for the so-called "Early" and "New" Music:
Ensemble musica viva freiburg (Conductor: Professor Roland Börger); Balthasar-Neumann-Chor (Director: Thomas Hengelbrock); Freiburger Solistenchor des Experimentalstudios der Heinrich-Strobeo-Stiftung am Südwestradio (Director: André Richard). With these ensembles, she appeared with other renowned conductors (Claudio Abbado, Ingo Metzmacher, Kwame Ryan) at the most important festivals in Europe and participated in numerous CD, radio and TV productions.
Her repertoire includes works from the Renaissance to contemporary compositions. |
