The Farench pianist, Amandine Savary, graduated with honours in France (Caen Conservatory- Normandy). iN 2003 she was awarded a scholarship to enter the Royal Academy of Music in London then joined the Royal Academy of Music of London, where she studied under Christopher Elton and Alexander Satz. She obtained her Bachelor of Music diploma in 2007 and a Masters Concert Project Degree with distinction. She is now Associate of the Royal Academy of Music.
Amandine Savary is laureate of the Fondation d’Entreprise Banque Populaire, the Kirckman Concert Society, the Philip&Dorothy Green Award, and was a recipient of the Musicians Benevolent Fund, the Martin Musical Scholarship, the Hattori Foundation, the Worshipful Company of Musicians. She has received exceptional exposure in the UK as a winner of the Tillett Trust Young Artists’ Platform Scheme 2006, Young Concert Artists Series as well as the Park Lane Group Young Artists Series in 2008. She is First prize winner of the 6th Osaka Chamber Music Competition and the Franckfurt Commerzbank Piano Trio Competition 2008, second prize in the Young Concert Artist Auditions in New York in 2008 amongst others with Trio Dali.
Amandine Savary is a very versatile musician. The winning in competitions has helped her receiving an outstanding exposure in Europe as well as Japan, USA, Australia… She has been on worldwide stages since more than ten years. As an an accomplished pianist and chamber music player, she has performed in major concert halls such as the Purcell Room, Wigmore Hall, Bozar, Flagey and the Royal Palace (Brussels), Radio France, Auditorium du Louvre (Paris), Palacio de Festivales (Spain), Kaufmann Hall (New York), Izumi Hall in Osaka, Fumin Alti Hall in Kyoto, Suntory Hall in Tokyo (Japan), Alte Oper (Frankfurt), Opéra Garnier (Monaco), the Concertgebouw, Amsterdam…
Amandine Savary has a passion for chamber music and is a founding member of the Trio Dali (with Jack Liebeck, violin, and Christian‐Pierre La Marca, cello). The trio was in residence at the Queen Elisabeth College in Belgium and received tuition from the Artemis Quartet and from Menahem Pressler of the Beaux-Arts Trio. With the other members of the Trio she was a fellow of the Royal Academy of Music between 2008 and 2010 and is now an Associate of that institution.
Her discography including Ravel Chamber music works and Schubert Piano trios / sonatas for Fuga Libera, French melodies for cello & piano for Sony has received many awards (R10 from Repertoire Magasine, 4* from Le Monde de la Musique, the “Clef” from Resumica Magasine, the prestigious Diapason d’or, the “Choc” of the year by Classica magasine , the “Editor’s Choice” of Gramophone Magasine, the “Super sonic award” of Pizzicato Magasine amongst others…). Her first solo recording, released in 2014 by the Muso label, is the complete keyboard Toccatas of J.S. Bach. |
