The American conductor, horn player and music teacher, Cameron Kirk Rush, Cameron Kirk Rush began his musical studies on horn at an early age in the Greater Kansas City Area, Kansas/Missouri. Prior to attending university, he studied privately with Dr. Melissa Derechailo and M. David Bushouse. In 2004 he began his formal training at the Conservatory of Music and Dance at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC), where he graduated with a Bachelor of Music Education (2004-2010). He studied Instrumental Conducting and Horn Performance at Western Illinois University School of Music in Macomb (2011-2012); then Instrumental Conducting at University of Northern Colorado in Greeley (2012-2016).
While living in Greeley, Colorado, Cameron founded and directed the Collegium Musicum Graeleius, a chamber orchestra specializing in vocal music for for the Greeley community. Within the Greeley community, he had the distinct pleasure of directing several J.S. Bach's Cantatas including the Peasant Cantata (BWV 212), the Coffee Cantata (BWV 211), and the Wedding Cantata (BWV 202) which featured Lesley Manring, Associate Professor of Voice at University of Northern Colorado.

Since 2016, Cameron Kirk Rush is Lecturer (Dosen) in the Department of Conducting and Large Ensembles at Mahidol University International Demonstration School - MUIDS in Thailand. |
