The German soprano, Christina Roterberg, studied singing at the Musikhochschule Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden. During her studies, she participated successfully twice at the Bundeswettbewerb Jugend musiziert (Federal Competition Young Musicians), where she won the 3rd Prize in the solo vocal category.
Christina Roterberg became involved at an early stage as a concert singer in the church music field. So she sings, inter alia, the soprano solos in J.S. Bach's Johannes-Passion (BWV 245) and Matthäus-Passion (BWV 244), Giovanni Battista Pergolesi's Stabat Mater, Camille Saint-Saëns’ Oratorio de Noel, Felix Mendelssohn's Elijah and Mozart's Requiem.
For several year Christina Roterberg has worked as a freelance for the RIAS-Kammerchor; since November 1, 2005 she is a permanent member. |
