The Swiss tenor, Bernard Richter, studied in Neuchâtel and was a member of the Opera Studio Bienne.

Mozart's Tito (title) at Opéra de Nancy, Orphée in Orphée aux Enfers at Opéra de Lausanne and Lully’s Atys (title) with Les Arts Florissants (Director: William Christie) at Opéra Comique, Versailles and Caen and Alphonse in Zampa with Les Arts Florissants at Opéra Comique. Mozart's Così fan tutte at Théâtre des Champs-Élysées. For Theater Freiburg he sang the title roles of Idomeneo, Lucio Silla and Mitridate.
In concert, Bernard Richter has appeared with the Berliner Symphoniker, MDR Sinfonieorchester Leipzig, Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg, Les Musiciens du Louvre (Director: Marc Minkowski) at the Salzburger Pfingsfestspiele and Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI, as well as at the Salle Gaveau de Paris, Tonhalle Zürich, Mozart Tage Luzern, Styriarte Graz, Gewandhaus Leipzig, L'Accademia di Santa Cecilia and Konzerthaus Wien. He also sang Tamino in W.A. Mozart's Die Zauberflöte and W.A. Mozart's Requiem Budapest Festival Orchestra tour to London, Berlin, Amsterdam, Bruges and Baden-Baden.
