The German soprano, Christine Maria Rembeck, enjoyed a broad musical education in singing, piano, flute and dance. After graduation, she received at the Musikhochschule in Vienna, the degree in "Music and Movement Education", studied recorder and devoted herself with great interest the study of Baroque and Renaissance music. This was followed by a singing studies at the Hochschule "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" in Leipzig, with a focus on Music of the 17th/18th Centuries. Further studies and master-classes with Jessica Cash, Helga Forner, Irwin Gage and Karin Mitzscherling, as well as at the Conservatoire National Superieur in Paris.
As a soprano soloist Maria Christine Rembeck sings in Lieder recitals, oratorios and opera projects, and has numerous CD and radio recordings. Due to her collaboration with internationally renowned ensembles such as Trinity Baroque, Le Parlement de Musique, Ensemble William Byrd, La Stagione Frankfurt, Concerto Köln, Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, Harmony of Nations, Ensemble Amarcord, Thomanerchor Leipzig and others, as well as her solo concerts with original compositions and arrangements in which she finds herself on piano, she performs regularly at the popular concert and festival stages at home and abroad. |
