From the project ′′ Bach, natürlich!"; the need to add a cameristic instrumental set to the Porto Alegre Coral, for the accomplishment of the proposed works. In order to continue the new format, as well as venturing into new projects, Porto Alegre Consort is born - a partnership between the consecrated gaucho camera choir and guest instrumentalists. The group is coordinated by singing teacher Gisa Volkmann and directed by conductor, cellist and gambista Diego Schuck Biasibetti, designer of the project.

In 2017, the group dedicated themselves to J.S. Bach's work, introducing the Cantatas BWV 51, BWV 106, BWV 131 and BWV 150. Still this year, the project ′′ Bach, natürlich!" presents during December, the parts of the parts of the parts of the I, III and VI Weihnachts-Oratorium BWV 248 of the famous German composer.

Coral Porto Alegre was created in 1996, under the guidance of professor Gisa Volkmann and conductor Ernani Aguiar. Throughout his tragetory, he mainly dedicated himself to the symphonic coral repertoire. The group served in the seasons of the main orchestras in southern Brazil, under the regency of the conductors Ernani Aguiar, Luther Rodrigues, Antonio Carlos Borges Cunha, Roberto Ricardo Duarte, Tiago Flores, Manfredo Schmiedt, Vilson Galvadão de Oliveira, Luciano Lunkes, Márcio Buzatto, Lúcia Teixeira, Evandro Evandro and Diego Schuck Biasibetti

Coral Porto Alegre has four CD's recorded: "Novenas" (1999), winner of the Azorian Prize for best recording of the genre scholarly music (in 2000); "Natal Matinas", by João de Deus Castro Lobo (2001); "Works by Capella" (2005); and "Funeral Responsors" (2012), by José Maurício Nunes Garcia.
