The Hungariuan soprano, Ágnes Pintér, began her musical career at the Children's Choir of the Hungarian Radio. In addition to her harp studies, she also graduated from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest; and then in Paris, she received postgraduate musicology training at the Sorbonne. Her singing was polished by Katalin Schultz, Margit László and Éva Lax.
Since 1995, Ágnes Pintér is a member and soloist of the Purcell Choir (Director: György Vashegyi); and since 1996, she is a member of the Corvina Consort (Director: Zoltán Kalmanovits). However, as a singer and as a harp player, she regularly performs in recitals and concerts, especially of the 17-18th centuries music, but also of the 19th century.
Since 2014, Ágnes Pintér is music theory teacher at the Ward Maria Zeneműveszeti Szakgimnazium (Ward Mary Music Academy). She currently lives in Budapest, Hungary. |
