The French soprano, Juliette Perret, studied piano and viola da gamba in her hometown of Grenoble, before starting sin ging studies in 2003 with Isabelle Desrochers. She studiesdin 2004 at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève and entered the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon, where she obtained the prize with honors in June 2009. She also attended the courses of Agnès Mellon and Elène Golgevit.
In 2006, Juliette Perret participated in the Académie Européenne d’Ambronay where she plays the role of Pasitea in Ercole Amante by Cavalli under the baton of Gabriel Garrido. In 2008, she made his first recording as a soloist with the Demoiselles de St Cyr (Emmanuel Mandrin) in a programme around Leçons des Ténèbres by François Couperin; rewarded by critics, the album received a Diapason d'Or. In 2009, she recorded with the Ensemble Correspondances A CD of Motets by Marc Antoine Charpentier, also rewarded.
Juliette Perret regularly sings Ensemble Pygmalion (Director: Raphaël Pichon) and Correspondances (Sébastien Daucé). She has also appeared as soloist with Akadêmia Ensemble (Director: Françoise Lasserre), Maîtrise de Radio France (Director: Sofi Jeannin), Les Folies Françoises (Director: Patrick Cohën-Akenine), La Compagnie des Bijoux Indiscrets (Director: Claire Bodin), Cappella Mediterranea (Director: Leonardo García-Alarcón), Ensemble Clematis (Director: Stephanie De Failly) and Les Arts Florissants (Director: William Christie), with whom she sang the third shepherd in David & Jonathas by Charpentier at the Aix-en-Provence Festival in 2012 and at the Opéra Comique, in Caen and in New York in 2013.
Her next recording was released in fall 2013 for the Ambronay label (distributed by Harmonia Mundi) with Ensemble Les Surprises (Director: Louis-Noël Bestion de Camboulas) around the composer Rebel. |
