The French soprano, Magali Perol-Dumora, began with the piano, then the discovery of singing led her to integrate the school curriculum at arranged times of the Maîtrise de la Loire, under the direction of Jacques Berthelon. After obtaining a license in musicology and studies at the Conservatoire National de Région de Lyon, she enrolled at the Conservatoire de Genève in early music class, where she trained with Béatrice Cramoix, Lucien Kandel, Gabriel Garrido, Leonardo García-Alarcón, Alain Garichot ... She obtained her Bachelor degree there in May 2010 with the congratulations of the jury and her Master of Singing Pedagogy in May 2012. Today, she continues to train with Virginie Pochon.
In 2017-2018 season, Magali Perol-Dumora hwas heard as a soloist, among others in Purcell's King Arthur, George Frideric Handel's La Lucrezia, George Frideric Handel's Stabat Mater, in several French and Italian 18th century music recitals with the I Fiori Harmonici ensemble, in Les Leçons de Ténèbres by François Couperin, in the Te Deum by Jan Dismas Zelenka and G.F. Handel, in Johannes-Passion BWV 245, Magnificat BWV 243 and Mass in B minor BWV 232 by J.S. Bach, in France and Switzerland ...
Magali Perol-Dumora is particularly fond of ensemble music and performs regularly with Spirito, a professional ensemble under the direction of Nicole Corti, the ensemble Les Reflets, dedicated to J.S. Bach's double choir motets. She was a permanent singer in the Epsilon ensemble, with whom she recorded the CD "Dun Douce Regard" ...
In addition, Magali Perol-Dumora has been a singing teacher at the Conservatoire de Musique de Genève since September 2013. She is married to Married to Jean-Baptiste Dumora and currently lives in Lyon, France. |
