The Korean-born soprano, Soo-Ah Park, received her Bachelor of Music degree in in Applied Music (voice). At the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York (2001). She has performed Salud in La Vida Breve by De Falla, Micaela in La Tragedie de Carmen by Peter Brook, Boy in Plump Jack by Gordon Getty with Butler Opera Center where she recently received her Master of Music degree in opera performance. She was awarded Honorable Mention for NATS competition in 2005 and a finalist for Lois Alba Aria competition in 2007. She worked with Grace Bumbrey, Mary Dunleavy, Renée Fleming, and Lucy Schaufer in the master-classes at University of Texas at Austin. Park is working on a Doctorate degree in University of Texas at Austin and studies with Rose Taylor. |
