The Czech bass, Jaromír Nosek, studied at Faculty of Education, Charles University in Prague, department of Music and Choir Conducting. Since 2003 he has been studying opera singing at Prague Conservatory in Jiří Kotouč`s class. He is a laureate of Dušek Vocal Competition of Mozart’s compositions and of Vocal Competition of Faculties of Education. He frequently participates in various vocal master-classes (for example with Peter Kooy, Nicky Kennedy).
Jaromír Nosek performs particularly in many different concerts of sacred music, for example George Frideric Handel’s Alexander’s Feast, W.A. Mozart's Requiem, or A. Dvořák’s Mass in D major. He also co-operates with Czech ensembles of ancient music, such as Fraternitas Litteratorum, Doulce Mémoire, Ensemble Inégal, Musica Florea or Collegium 1704. |
