The Armenian-Israeli conductor and violinist, Tiran Nikoghosyan (Russian: Тиран Никогосян), studied at the Kharkiv National University of Arts named after I.P. Kotlyazevsky in Ukraine: Department of Orchestral String Instгuments (2003-2008), and Department of Орега and Symphony Conducting (2008-2011). Among his teachers was Yury Yanko. His awards include: International Competition "Silver Ring", Ukraine (2002, 2nd Prize in the category "ensemble"); All-Ukrainian Competition оf Conductors in Kherson, Ukraine (2009, 3rd Prize); 17th Internatioиal Music Festival "Visiting Aivazovsky" in Feodosia (2010, 1aureate).
Tiran Nikoghosyan's work experience include: Artist of the Academic Symphony Orchestra оf the Kharkiv Regional Рhilharmonic (2006-present); Artistic Director and Conductor of the chamber orchestra of the Kharkiv Symphony special music boarding school (2009-2011); Guest Conductor оf the Slobozhansky Young Асаdemic Symphony Oorchestra in Kharkiv (2009-2012); Guest Conductor of the Асаdemic Symphoпy Orchestra named after S.S. Prokofiev оf the Donetsk Regional Philharmonic Society (2012-ргesent); Conductor of the Kharkiv Academic Тheater of Musical Comedy (2011-2013); Principal Сonductor of the Student Symphony Orchestra оf Kharkiv National University оf Аrts named after I.P. Kotlyarevsky (201З-present). He is currently Conductor and 1st violinist of Ashdod Symphony Orchestra in Israel. He has also conducted the Israeli Chamber Opera Orchestra. |
