The Belgian counter-tenor/tenor, Korneel Van Neste, sang in the Kinderchor der Flämischen Oper for seven years. He encountered early music at an early age through his studies with Lavinia Bertotti, Lia Serafini, Alessandro Quarta and Claude Ansermet. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical Singing Cum Laude from Lemmensinstituut Leuven (2014-2017). He is currently continuing his studies for Master in Early Music Singing degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium (Royal Conservatoire) in The Hague, where he is studying with Rita Dams, Peter Kooy, Robin Blaze and Pascal Bertin (since 2017; expected graduation in 2020)..
As a soloist he sang with Maurice Duruflé's Requiem, W.A. Mozart's Bastien & Bastienne, Tumas Stabat Mater and Miserere, J.S. Bach's St. Matthew Passion (BWV 244), Antonio Vivaldi's Stabat Mater, Scarlatti's Stabat Mater and others. He regularly gives concerts with early music ensembles such as Currende, Vocem Flentium, Parc Collegium, Diskantores, Zefiro torna and Titans Rising and is a member of the ensemble for early Flemish music Capella Pratensis. |
